On Monday, September 15, we chose to make it official at the Jefferson County Courthouse in downtown Louisville.
Two sheriffs became our unexpected witnesses, and one kindly recorded the whole ceremony for us. Afterward, we celebrated in our favorite way, with breakfast at a little spot we love, vows shared with Marley at home, champagne toasts, cake, and photos. It was simple, joyful, and exactly right for us. Now we look forward to celebrating with our friends and family in Louisville and Atlanta in 2026.
